Berhala Island located in Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, and also near to Malaka Strait and the border of Malaysia. That is why marines troop have their presence there.

In this island you can find mountainous terrain and forest, the sea that posses many corals and fishes in it, and white sands; things that definitely will charm you.

4. Nusa Barong Island

This island is a natural conservation located in Kabupaten Jember, East Java Province. Uninhibited, this white sands island have four ecosystem that is hutan payau (brackish forest), hutan rawa (swamp forest), beach and a lowland forest. Alongside its own unique ecosystem, unique flora and fauna also present in the island.

Though reaching the island can be difficult, especially on bad weather. The Hindia Ocean rough wave can make boat having difficulties to sail and dock to the island. Even so, this would be a great experience for you, audacious people.

5. Maratua Island

Located on Berau, East Kalimantan Province the inverted V-shaped island is facing directly to the border of Malaysia and Philippines. Aside the usual various beach activities that travelers can enjoy, you can also watch the daily life of Bajo tribe here. The beauty of island’s underwater life and beach is also another reason to visit there.
